Bloodchild by Octavia Butler

What made me buy the book – the title of the book, nothing else

What I liked about the book – the sheer scope of emotions it made me feel within a span of merely a few minutes — from love to disgust to irony to unfathomable inevitability

Who will I recommend the book to – a scifi reader, a feminist (because strangely so, it explores the untested waters of male pregnancy)

What did the book teach me – when the tables to turn, it’s only about who you’ll throw under the bus to save yourself – and at times, you’ll throw yourself under the bus to save yourself
