What made me buy the book – it was on almost every ‘have to read these books’ list, so i bought it to know it for myself

What I liked about the book – the scale of satire. I’ve never laughed so much while reading a book. Nowadays, anything offensive is written and marketed as a satire. This book is satire incarnate. Diving nose first inside the frenzy of war, and ending up making the reader question about reality and what not. This book is best read, i believe, with a peer group so that the group can laugh and roll like hyenas and roll play
Who will I recommend the book to – anyone who wants to read the real stuff, let me warn you though. There’s a catch.
What did the book teach me – the wars taught us so much, and we end up waging wars again to relearn as if we don’t remember the past
