The Little Prince by Mark Osborne

What made me watch the movie – I had read the book and was curious to see the movie adaptation

What I liked about the movie – it’s high on symbolism and metaphors. It’s a beautiful tale captured on the big screen with sweetness

Who will I recommend the movie to – anyone who’d like to watch something uplifting. There’s good stuff even beyond Pixar

What did the movie teach me – it’s all about perception. Just because something isn’t visible, doesn’t mean that it isn’t.

The Irishman by Martin Scorcese

What made me watch the movie – the stellar cast and the ace director

What I liked about the movie – the movie itself is the opposite of the Two Popes. I think I’m borrowing the words of a movie critic when I reiterate that the two popes invisibilized the craft of acting, while this movie made it overt and flamboyant. This movie is a slow burn, and by the time you’ve seen the movie, you’d have aged significantly – emotionally

Who will I recommend the movie to – a serious series buff. This movie, like Sherlock, is not for everyone.

What did the movie teach me – taking pride in one’s work
